We're writing to let you know about an important change that affects patients who use a QuitRx prescription to purchase nicotine products from overseas.

The Australian Government has today announced changes to the Personal Importation Scheme, which will take effect from 24 July 2026.

In response to this announcement, QuitRx has ceased issuing prescriptions intended for personal importation from overseas suppliers, effective immediately.

The good news is that QuitRx is not closing.

We will continue to provide nicotine vaping prescriptions for eligible patients in accordance with Australian regulations. If you obtain your nicotine vaping products through an Australian pharmacy, you can continue to receive your prescriptions from QuitRx as usual.
